I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and fitted for a CPAP device. I was unable to wear it for a variety of reasons. Dr. Wilk fitted me with a comfortable oral appliance, and I had immediate improvement of my symptoms. I had problems with sleep apnea since I was involved in an accident. I was snoring so loud that my wife would not sleep with me. I was feeling tired throughout the day, and my wife told me I was gasping for air. I was put on a CPAP device, but I just could not wear it at all. I felt claustrophobic, and I just could not get used to the hoses of the machine. The oral appliance Dr Wilk gave me was great; I have more energy, sleep better, and feel refreshed in the morning.
